Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud 2018 Payroll, Tax and IRD Updates Available

Sage has just released their year-end updates for users of Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud.

These updates contain program fixes which some versions of Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud may need to process the end-of-year.

Please note that if you are using Sage 100 or Sage 100cloud version 2016 that this is your LAST year-end update.

Please consult with your Sage partner prior to installing any updates. Make a backup before year-end processing.

Sage 100 Payroll 2.19 – This upgrade is for users of Payroll 2.x which is installed for Sage 100 2018. – Download

Sage 100 IRD for 2018 – This Interim Release Download includes program updates which may be needed to process year-end.  – Download

Must be at one of these minimum versions to install the Sage 100 IRD:

  • 2016.5*
  • 2017.1 or later
  • 2018.2 or later**
  • *The 2018 IRD will be the last year-end IRD for Sage 100 2016

**The 2018 IRD only needs to be installed by Sage 100 2018 users if they are processing 1099-DIVs.

Sage 100 Payroll – Tax Table Update for Q1 2019 – Download

This tax table update (TTU) is available for Sage 100 Standard and Advanced versions 2017 and 2016. If you’re using Sage 100 2018, when the tax update is available, a message will ask if you want to install it when you start a Payroll task. Also, you can use the Payroll Tax Update utility to check for updates.

  • The TTU is required for federal tax filing and for filing in some states. This update impacts payroll tax filing for filing year 2019.
  • The 2019 Q1 TTU should be installed after processing W-2 forms for tax year 2018 and before processing the first payroll in 2019.
  • The 2019 Q1 TTU will be the last TTU for Sage 100 2016.

Sage 100 Payroll Tax Table Update Available: January 26, 2018

Sage has just updated the payroll tax tables for the latest Federal Withholding tax changes. The changes include in this update are cumulative. You only need to install the latest update in order to have access to the latest tables.

This tax table update is compatible with currently supported versions of Sage 100 2015, 2016 and 2017.

To verify whether you have the latest Sage 100 TTU installed:

1. Select Library Master > Setup > System Configuration.
2. On the Modules tab, in the grid at the bottom of the screen, look for 2018-Q1 Tax Tables in the Module column as well as the applicable Release Date.

If you are using Sage 100 2018 and Payroll 2.0 then payroll tax tables are self-updating and you do not need to separately update the payroll tax table.

Sage 100 Payroll Tax Table Changes – 1/26/2018

Federal – Updated withholding tax tables
Federal – Dependent exemption increases
Federal – Supplemental rate decrease

State Tax Table Changes

CO – Colorado – Colorado income tax withholding rounding to nearest dollar repealed
KY – Kentucky – Standard deduction increase
MO – Missouri – Withholding tax tables
MO – Missouri – Standard deduction increases
MS – Mississippi – Withholding tax tables
TN – Tennessee – UI wage base decrease

Here’s What’s New In The 2016 Q1 Sage 100 Tax Table Update

Sage just released their latest payroll tax table update. These new rates are compatible with Sage 100 versions 2013 and higher. The tables should be loaded after your last payroll of 2015 and before the first payroll run for 2016.

Sage 100 ERP Tax Tables and IRD For 2013 Due December 20, 2013

Sage this week have updated some information about when their updated tax tables and year-end interim release will be available for payroll users. Expect both of these downloads to be made available on December 20, 2013.

According to their site:

The Tax Filing Year 2013 is the final year Sage will maintain and support the 1099 form in Accounts Payable, the W-2 and 941 forms in Payroll and the Electronic Reporting (formerly Magnetic Media) module.

As of Tax Filing Year 2014, customers will be able to print and/or eFile 250+ signature ready State and Federal tax forms from within the Sage 100 ERP integration to State and Federal eFiling and Reporting, powered by Aatrix, additional fees apply for eFiling services only.

Note for Payroll customers: We will continue to maintain and provide Payroll Tax Table Updates (TTU) for applicable supported versions.

Federal & State eFiling & Reporting powered by Aatrix, year-end updates will be released December 20th. Simply access Federal or State eFiling and Reporting from within Sage 100 ERP and the system will prompt you to apply the automatic update.

The 2013 Interim Release Download (IRD) and 2014-Q1 Tax Table Update (TTU) are scheduled to be posted by December 20th, remember to check back on the Sage Portal throughout the month of January for any last minute tax table updates.

Sage 100 ERP 2013 Tax Table Update June 2013 Now Available For Download

Sage have issued a new tax table update for versions 4.4 and higher of Sage 100 ERP. This update address tax changes in the following areas:

Federal – increases the maximum allowances
Georgia – supplemental rate change
Minnesota – withholding table changes
