Sage 100 2019 Manuals Now Online

With the release of Sage 100cloud version 2019 in April 2019, the manuals are now largely online in html format. These guides may be accessed from both within the program and directly from the web.

Additionally, Sage now posts technical information – including the supported platform matrix, Sage 100 release notes, checklists and user guides. This documentation is available for Sage 100 versions 4.4 through 2019.

The supported platform matrix is a document which shows the computer operating systems – both server and workstation – which have been tested by Sage and are guaranteed to be compatible with your Sage 100 system.

Which Versions of Sage 100 Are Currently Supported?

Presently Sage 100 2018 and higher are the only versions to receive product updates. These product updates are bundles of fixes and patches which correct issues that other users have reported.

Payroll users will want to be on a version which is still receiving payroll tax table updates and year-end IRD (Interim Release Downloads) which bring payroll into compliance with any late breaking tax changes. Presently, only Sage 100 2017 and higher are supported for payroll year 2019.

Downloadable Sage 100 Manuals – Version 3.x

The manuals for all Sage 100 accounting modules are included online and accessed from the help menu (or F1 key). Manuals were no longer distributed after MAS 90 and MAS 200 (the former name for Sage 100) version 3.71.

Sage 100 2018 has begun moving more of the help material online.

Paper manuals (pdf) for Sage 100 (formerly MAS 90 and MAS 200) were no longer distributed after MAS 90 and MAS 200 version 3.71.

Note: May 17, 2012 Sage re-branded MAS90 and MAS200 to Sage 100.

  • MAS 90 = Sage 100 Standard
  • MAS 200 = Sage 100 Advanced
  • MAS 200 SQL = Sage 100 Premium

Below are links to copies of the MAS 90 3.71 manuals which in many cases can serve as a starting point for understanding Sage 100 functionality.

Guides to installation are likely no longer relevant to the latest versions of Sage 100 accounting. Use these as a refresher for functionality and NOT a guide to installation.

How to increase the number of dynamic parameters in Crystal Reports

October 30, 2013 by Wayne Schulz

There is a limit to Crystal Dynamic parameters. The limit is 1000 items, which may not be enough if you need all of your inventory items in a report selection criteria field.

Here’s how to change the limit:

Important: As with any changes to the system registry – do so at your own risk and have a backup. Incorrect changes may render your computer or applications inoperable.

Crystal Reports 2011

1. Create a registry key HKEY_HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\LOV.
2. Add a string value “MaxRowsetRecords” and set the value to the maximum number of values that you desire for your report. For example, a value of 2000 will return up to 2000 values in the lowest level of a cascading parameter.
3. After making changes to the registry, restart the affected service or application as required.
NOTE: the registry key on 64 bit Operating Systems is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\LOV
