Sage 100 Knowledgebase Now Sorts Reliably By Most Recent Article

November 25, 2020 by Wayne Schulz

Sage recently updated their North American knowledgebase so that the Sage 100 articles may be sorted reliably by most recent.

This new feature makes it easier to see at-a-glance problems that have been most recently reported.

If you search the Sage 100 knowledgebase and leave the “search the knowledgebase” area blank you will see the most recent articles.

Previously there was no reliable way to view most recent articles so that a user could quickly review new product issues.

Access the Sage 100 knowledgebase here ( login required for many articles )

Sage 100 ERP (fka MAS90 or MAS200) old knowledgebase is back with a new URL

March 29, 2013 by Wayne Schulz

sage 100 knowledgebase

Sage has an old knowledgebase which is no longer updated with current support topics. However it’s quite useful for looking up older problem reports (and their resolutions).

A few weeks ago this online knowledgebase appeared to be down for the count. An eagle-eyed 90 Minds member just spotted that the Sage 100 ERP old knowledgebase is back albeit at a slightly different URL.

Sage Legacy Knowledgebase – Down For The Count?

March 4, 2013 by Wayne Schulz

sage knowledgebase

It’s looking as if Sage’s former knowledgebase  (Serviceware)- which was replaced by their new customer and partner portal (Codename Atlas which is driven underneath by SAP) has gone off-line. Perhaps for good.

The former Serviceware driven knowledgebase had continued to informally be made available for quick Sage technical lookups via a web link which did not require a login. Sadly while this link is still live and you can query for technical issues – clicking on any of the results produces the “500 – Internal server error.” message depicted above.

This means future Sage knowledgebase inquiries need to go through the new SAP based Atlas portal which requires a user code and login for most content.

Expect an updated knowledgebase system from Sage  in the near term when Sage will switch their knowledgebase from SAP  to yet another Knowledge Management Solution, migrating away from SAP to a solution from Aptean (Knova,who also ironically acquired ServiceWare).

Sage Login Page – Fast Access To Customer, Partner and Product Portals

September 26, 2012 by Wayne Schulz

Looking for the URL to login to Sage’s customer or partner portals? Remembering the full URL isn’t too difficult.

Customers = https://customers.sagenorthamerica.com
Partners = https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com

However if you want a simplified single page that shows the logins to the various portals – try this page which Sage created to consolidate some of the login information:

Shared Evernote Sage 100 Knowledgebase Available For Schulz Support Subscribers

August 3, 2012 by Wayne Schulz

I’m happy to make available a special connection to a Sage 100 shared knowledgebase that we are growing within Evernote.

Evernote is a multi-platform (both desktop and mobile) software solution which allows for taking notes that are synchronized and shared with other users. These notes may be text only or they can include images and PDF and other types of document files. As part of the organizing process Evernote indexes all files and allows for you to search inside of them.

Because Evernote works so well across multiple platforms we’ve decided to adopt it for keeping track of shared knowledge articles.

During the Sage 100 ERP upgrade or support process we are constantly adding knowledge articles that explain the way that a particular issue was resolved. As of now we have 90 articles and expect that we’ll triple that number by year end.

Read up on the use of Evernote – here –  take a quick peek at a sample of a few support articles here – and if you are a subscriber to our Schulz Consulting Access Agreement – simply send your email address to wayne@s-consult.com  and we’ll share a link to our full Evernote Sage 100 ERP  Knowledgebase.
