Sage 100 Supported Versions As of November 2020

As of November 1, 2020 here are the latest versions of Sage 100 supported by Sage North America. This chart applies to both Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud releases.

As of November 2, 2020

Those Sage 100 users who wish to print the new Form 1099-NEC for 2020 will need to be on at least the following release levels

  • 2020.1
  • 2019.4
  • 2018.10

If you are using a version of Sage 100 with enhancements and cannot readily upgrade to a version listed with 1099-NEC support then consider installing a separate Sage 100 system and migrating data to that system solely for the purpose of printing Form 1099-NEC ( see instructions here ).

In most cases, if you have third-party solutions you will need to request an update to the enhancement(s) prior to installing any Sage product updates.

Please consult with your Sage Business Partner for the latest information and guidance on how to go about the process of installing a Sage 100 product update.

Sage 100cloud Supported Versions As of February 2020

With the next release of Sage 100cloud due March 18, 2020, here is a list of the versions which Sage currently supports as well as the date which that support is expected to end.

Sage’s policy is to support the current release plus an immedate two prior versions.

Support end dates have been projected based on the assumption that Sage will continue releasing their updates in the March / April timeframe. If this changes, so could the support end dates for some releases.

Support for Sage 100 on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Ends Today

On January 14, 2020, Microsoft ceased active support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Due to this change, Sage will also stop supporting these platforms for Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud. Users are urged to upgrade to a compatible operating system as outlined in Sage’s Supported Platforms document.

After January 14, 2020, if your PC is running Windows 7, it will no longer receive security updates. Therefore, it’s important that you upgrade to a modern operating system such as Windows 10, which can provide the latest security updates to help keep you and your data safer. In addition, Microsoft customer service will no longer be available to provide Windows 7 technical support. Related services for Windows 7 will also be discontinued over time. For example, certain games such as Internet Backgammon and Internet Checkers as well as Electronic Program Guide for Windows Media Center are scheduled to be discontinued in January 2020.

Your existing Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud system will continue functioning on these platforms however you may have trouble loading Sage patches or obtaining future technical support related to these platforms.

What Versions of Sage 100 ERP Are Supported As Of December 2014?

Sage have updated their supported versions list and are displaying the versions supported as well as retirement dates for the past 4 releases.

As shown in the image above the following versions of Sage 100 ERP are supported as of December 2014:

Sage 100 ERP 4.5 (last date for product updates – phone support ends 9/30/15)
Sage 100 ERP 2013
Sage 100 ERP 2014
Sage 100 ERP 2015 (projected release date – April 2015)

You should note that the last date for product updates and hot fixes may be a truer measure of when you should ensure your Sage 100 system has been upgraded. If there is an issue requiring a program fix and the version that you use is supported by phone but not product update or bug fix then you may be forced to quickly update to a later version if a program fix is deemed necessary by Sage.

Sage 100 ERP Supported Versions As Of 9/30/13

As of September 30, 2013 the only versions of Sage 100 ERP which are supported by Sage are:

Sage 100 ERP 2013
Sage 100 ERP v4.5
Sage 100 ERP 4.4

Version 4.3 of Sage 100 ERP (formerly MAS90 and MAS200) will no longer be supported. This means those on version 4.3 (or earlier) will not get access to any product updates which might fix bugs or ensure compatibility with Microsoft releases of Windows 8+.

Also please remember that Sage will no longer issue payroll tax form updates for any version of Sage 100 ERP and instead you will use the included Aatrix tax functionality to print forms which is only available for supported versions of Sage 100.
