Microsoft Windows XP Support Expiration Date of April 8, 2014 Is Less Than 500 Days Away

April 8, 2014 is the expiration date on Microsoft XP — aka the last day (as of now) that you’ll be able to get support for the operating system that many companies have standardized on for the desktop.

The questions may become – will Microsoft extend the deadline, will Windows 8 become the new standard or will companies just ignore this altogether?
