What Versions of Sage 100 ERP Are Supported?

One of the most frequently asked questions we hear from Sage users is whether their version of Sage 100 ERP (formerly Sage ERP MAS 90 or MAS 200) is supported by Sage.

Sage officially supports the current and 3 prior versions.

Since Sage 100 ERP 2013 is the present version they are offering support for:

Sage 100 ERP 2013
Sage 100 ERP v4.5
Sage 100 ERP v4.4
Sage 100 ERP v4.3

Sage 100 ERP 941 Form Alignment Fix

Sage have just issued a program patch for versions 4.3+ of Sage 100 ERP which corrects an issue some users have encountered trying to print the 2013 IRS form 941.

It appears the original issue relates to the report itself which would resize the fonts incorrectly when the workstation display settings were NOT set to 100% (default).

The two report files which are updated:

How To Allocate Sales Tax To Inventory Purchases In Sage 100 ERP

In some instances you may find that you would like to record the sales tax paid on your inventory purchases as part of the cost of inventory (consult your tax advisor on whether this applies to you).

Here’s how to do it in Sage 100 ERP fka MAS90 or MAS200:

Open Library Master / Common and select Sales Tax Code Maintenance.
Review the warning message and click ‘OK’.
Select the desired Tax Code from the lookup or enter a new code if needed.
Select the checkbox next to ‘Expense to Vendor/Item’.
Select the Line for tax class TX.
Make sure the ‘Purchases’ ox is checked.
Confirm that the ‘Tax Rate’ is greater than 0.00.
Set the Non-Recoverable % to 100.00%
Click ‘OK’
Accept
Repeat for all tax codes needed.

The Sage 100 ERP (fka MAS90 or MAS200) file layouts are available online in either PDF or help file format. Beginning with version 4.4 you should look for the file layouts within your Sage 100 (fka MAS90 or MAS200) program by going to Tasks – Resources – File Layouts.
