Sage 100 ERP 2013 (fka MAS90 / MAS200 ) Beta Applications Being Accepted Now

Sage is now accepting applications for partners who wish to beta test Sage 100 ERP 2013. This is presently a partner-only beta with a customer early adopter phase to follow shortly.

Our Beta Program provides Sage Business Partners with an opportunity to be the first to learn about the new features and functionality of the new release in advance of general availability and customer shipments. Your participation in the Beta Program is vital to provide us with valuable feedback, and prepare you to support an Early Adopter customer. The Sage 100 ERP 2013 Beta is currently scheduled to run October 15th – November 26th, followed immediately with the Early Adopter Program, from November 26th through December 3, 2012.

How To Beta Test MAS90 or MAS200?

Sage is slated to begin beta testing of version 4.50 of Sage ERP MAS90 and MAS200 on August 1, 2011. This will follow with an early adopter test run that’s scheduled for August 22, 2011 through October 31, 2011.

The early adopter program provides Sage Customers with an opportunity to be the first on the block to try the new features offered in MAS90 and MAS200 version 4.5 (see list here).

Once approved by Sage you’ll be slotted into the program and provided advanced support, higher priority on program fixes and more hand holding and frequent check ins.

If you’re interested in participating you can sign up at the Sage site. Among the requirements are:

Use the beta product (for testing)
Have the required hardware/software (Sage will supply this document)
Install the beta (see #1 above)
Test according to the beta questionnaire
Provide timely feedback
Participate in regular webcasts to talk about the beta
Complete an exit survey
Provide recorded and/or written testimonials

Sage MAS 90 and 200 v4.4 new feature slide deck

Hot off the presses are these slides that were used at the recent Friday Focus session. The topic was MAS 90 version 4.4 and the content covered all the expected new enhancements in this next release as well as approximate release dates.

For those of you not patient enough to read through all 21 pages:

Controlled release / beta – begins summer 2009
Final release target – late 2009
Modules upgrade: Inventory, Purchase Order, Bill of Materials, Bar Coding
Major new features: 20 character customer number, 30 character inventory item (special item too) numbers

Sage is officially opening up their beta program for customers who would like to volunteer for the initial controlled release of MAS 90 version 4.4.

Target for beta/controlled release to begin: Summer 2009

Requirements to participate in the controlled release/beta:

No enhancements
Need for large customer and inventory item numbers
Desire to implement new features
Any Sage Partners looking to participate in the beta must have a customer in the program as well

Target Final Release Date: Late 2009
