Sage have announced that users of Sage 100 ERP payroll who are in the following states:

• Michigan
• North Carolina
• Pennsylvania

Will be able to update their tax computations for new payroll law changes as noted:

1. Michigan – withholding rates updated effective October 1, 2012
2. North Carolina – unemployment UI wage base to $20,400
3. Pennsylvania – increase credit weeks least amount

These updates will be available to download from the Sage site on September 25, 2012.

As previously announced the discontinuation of payroll updates for users on version 4.3 or earlier goes into effect this year though Sage have made an exception to update their program for new 2013 Medicare requirements. Sage will be providing the 2013 Medicare changes for 2013 in January 2013 and 941 updates in March 2013.
