We continue to hear that Sage have changed the way they are issuing registration codes for their Sage 100 software.
In the past if you purchased additional users or modules Sage would issue a new unlocking code. Now it appears you receive not only a new unlock code but also a new serial number. In some cases these serial numbers are used by third party developers to also register their enhancements.
What this means is if you change your registration code (serial number) you should also contact any third party developer for an updated registration code or your enhancement may suddenly cease to work or go into some type of “trial mode”.
So far it is reported the enhancements from DSD Business Systems, SWK and ACS may be subject to this type of change and you should request updated unlock keys from the third party developers at the same time you receive new keys from Sage.
