We just noticed an interesting knowledge article that I noticed on the Sage Knowledgebase ( KB ) site this morning.
This impacts versions Sage 100 versions 2020.x and 2021.x
The Sage KB was just updated with entry 111968 – Slow performance loading screens in Sage 100.
We’ve heard a few users complain that after upgrading Sage 100 to the latest release some screens were slower to open than in their prior Sage version.
It appears the next product updates for v2020 and v2021 – likely due around September 2021 – will correct this issue.
Sage generally issues product updates for versions on a quarterly schedule. I recommend you stay current on a version of Sage 100 which is receiving regular product updates so that you can take advantage of fixes such as the one noted above.
Your company should stay current on the latest release of Sage so you’re eligible for these product updates.
