Sage 100 users who make use of Aatrix for printing payroll tax forms should make note of this latest Sage knowledgebase article which suggest verifying the current Sage versions in preparation for an updated Aatrix forms rollout.
It seems the Aatrix form has been updated to better secure data and noted in this article:
Aatrix forms are being updated to enhance encryption and protection for sensitive data. Certain Sage product updates will be required to allow efiling forms to function correctly with Sage 100 (alternate hot-fixes will be released soon for older product update levels on supported versions).
This update had been halted temporarily as users reported receiving an error “unable to initialize” followed by the form name when running any form in Aatrix efiling.
It seems this issue has been resolved and in preparation for an updated forms download Sage is advising that Sage 100 users making use of Aatrix ( used for all payroll and accounts payable tax forms ) will need to be on one of the following Sage 100 versions ( Note: If a number appears after the decimal that indicates a product update version number ).
To prepare for the re-release of these form changes, update to the following versions:
Sage 100 2019.5
Sage 100 2020.2
Sage 100 2021
