As of January 15, 2019, the following versions of Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud are supported by Sage. The next release, version 2019, is due on or about March 2019.
Sage 100 is the traditional perpetual licensed version of Sage 100.
Sage 100cloud is the subscription version of Sage 100.

In most cases, you may upgrade directly to the latest release of Sage 100 without installing interim versions. Please consult with your Sage partner to see if this applies to your specific situation. In some instances, such as when coming from very old releases, you may be advised to make an interim upgrade prior to upgrading fully to the latest Sage 100 release.
Both Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud are functionally equivalent. The primary difference for Sage 100cloud is that it’s sold on a subscription basis which makes it cheaper to purchase initially and easier to add or remove users (30 days notice required). Sage 100cloud also does not require any additional payment to use the Advanced (Client Server) or SQL (Premium) versions.
