Sage just released the latest payroll tax tables for 2019. This table version 12/27/2018 contains updated federal withholding tables which you can use for the first payroll of 2019.
Generally, you should follow these steps in processing the end-of-year for your Payroll system:
- Install the latest IRD
- Print W2 and tax forms
- Make a backup
- Close Payroll for 2018
- Install the latest tax table
- Process your first payroll for 2019 and double check that correct taxes are withheld
