The following Sage 100 payroll versions will receive tax table updates during the calendar year 2018.
- Sage 100 2016
- Sage 100 2017
- Sage 100 2018 (These are delivered automatically)
Earlier versions of Sage 100 payroll are not eligible for tax table updates. They also cannot print year-end tax forms such as W2 or 1099.
After 2018 if you are using Sage 100 2016 for payroll processing you must upgrade to a later version of payroll in order to continue to be eligible for tax table updates, year-end program updates which may be needed for IRS changes and for printing of tax forms W-2, etc.

If you are considering upgrading your Sage 100 system please review the supported platforms guides which outline the operating systems (both server and desktop) which later versions of Sage required. Be advised that, as of May 2018, a minimum of Windows 7 desktop and Windows Server 2008 R2 are required to install newer versions of Sage. You should always download the most current Supported Platforms directly from Sage prior to starting the upgrade planning process.
