It’s a transformer toy, no it’s a hub, wait – it’s a PC

May 27, 2009 by Wayne Schulz

transformer usb hub.jpg

It seems like every day there’s a new USB hub masquerading as something else. Just the other day we had the heart shaped chocolate cake 4 Port USB hub. Today it’s the transformer type toy that folds into make a mini Windows XP computer that contains a 4-Port USB Hub. The site offering this gizmo appears to be in Japanese and the most I can make out is that it seems this is destined for a September 2009 release and will operate on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista and Mac.

Oops – I knew that I'd do this one day. When posting for Geardiary this morning I accidentally uploaded the story to my Schulz Consulting site. Since this gizmo is sort of cool and a refreshing break from the usual ERP stuff that we write about – I'm leaving it up.

Just don't think we're changing to “the wacky USB hub” blog…

Here's my full story (which is actually just a modified version of this one) on Geardiary –
