If you’ve gone through the upgrade process for Sage MAS 90 or MAS 200 and looked into your Customer Sales and/or Vendor Purchase history tab you will probably notice that the upgrade did NOT recalculate the historical totals on a month by month basis.
Instead what the standard Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 upgrade does is throw all the historical detail totals for each year into the last month. Going forward your monthly customer and vendor information will be tracked on a monthly basis. But what happens if you want to look at past totals?
Until now the only option was to use a solution like Visual Integrator and import the totals – a time consuming process. There is however a better way. Martin and Associates has a utility they offer for $ 765 which recalculates the monthly totals for customers and vendors.
This utility works on versions 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 of Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200. We use it on every one of our upgrade engagements and the speed is impressive. Within two to three minutes all of your customer and vendor historical totals are computed and placed into the appropriate monthly totals.
