If you are updating from an older version of Sage 100 ( formerly MAS 90 or MAS 200 ) then you may have learned that upgrades from older releases are only supported from version 4.50 Product Update 8 ( PU 8 ) or higher.
This means if you want to migrate from an early version such as MAS 90 3.x you will need to:
- Upgrade to at least MAS 90 3.71
- Then upgrade to at least Sage 100 v4.50 PU 8 ( download )
- From here you can upgrade directly to the latest Sage 100 release
Thankfully, this will migrate all of your existing data without any re-keying.
If you are not on a Sage maintenance plan you must re-instate on a current Sage 100cloud subscription. This will allow you access to the latest relase of Sage which continues to run on your existing servers provided they meet the supported platform requirements ( check what hardware and OS are supported here ).
Here is a concise guide to all the new features added to Sage 100 and Sage 100cloud – Sage 100 Customer Upgrade Guide 2019.
